My son wants to be Mario for Halloween so my husband decided to surprise him with the Luigi costume. Gad we didn't tell my son! Unfortunately the costume is not going to work. My husband is 5'8" so we decided to order a large to have plenty of room. The upper body is ok...long arms though, but from crotch to feet is extremely short. He even tried to wear with tightest fitting track shorts and still looked ridiculous. We are saddened but Luigi will be returned. As a side note, we ordered the 8-10 for our normal sized 6 year old and the fit is perfect.
Worked out well for school parade
I purchased this costume to wear for an elementary school parade to go along with a special needs student's Mario costume. I had it hemmed to fit and also put in a 21" length zipper in place of the velcro tabs in back of the costume. The mustache had to be trimmed to fit my face which was not a problem. However, the mustache is bothersome after wearing it all day. I suggest painting one on instead. The quality of the fabric will last and the one piece jumpsuit style was perfect for mobility and comfort.
great costume
received the costume and great timing and in new conditions. will purchase future costume from this distributor. The only downfall is that it did not come with the white glove.
