I'm very surprised at how high-quality this is. It's not an Inverness cape, per se, since it has sleeves, but it is still very handy for kiltwearers at Scottish games events. Something like this from a kiltmaker would be hundreds of dollars. While it has no lining, and is not winterwear, it's a nice layer for cool, drizzly weather. Vastly superior to typical media-franchise costume stuff.
I just might wear this after Halloween!
I'm currently writing a mystery/thriller and the central character wears an Inverness Coat. Since he is partially modeled after Barnabas, I decided to get the coat. It fits very well and is actually warm. And it looks great!
