When it arrived it didnt look entirely like the picture. Online it looks like a good cotton garment, when in reality it was a bit cheap looking, with almost stretchy material.
Also, iron on pips look a bit tacky. Not very happy for something that costs so much.
Not bad for the price
My wife and I bought a couple of these costumes for Halloween. The men's costume doesn't come with pants so you'll have to supply your own black pants, but that wasn't too much of a hassle. The only real annoyance was putting on the "pips". The officer rank pips aren't a plastic pin on or any other sort of physical add-on. Instead the pips are an iron on image, which wasn't too hard to apply, but it was a little unexpected. There was one benefit to this however, it allowed us to choose what our respective ranks would be (each costume comes with 4 pip iron-on images). In addition, the usual minor complaints to Halloween costumes apply, it was a little itchy, the "turtle neck" undershirt only extended to about mid chest, and it was very warm. However, for the price I was very satisfied with the degree of "realism" the costume held. I would recommend any budget conscious Star Trek fan purchase this outfit.
Cool Costume
