Every since Super Mario Bros. 3 have I dreamed of becoming a Tanooki. To soar up into the air and gently glide down onto the ground seemed to be completely out of my grasp. Until now. I bought the suit and, upon receiving it, I immediately put in on. I took a running jump with my arms spread out in hopes of finally achieving flight. I tripped over my 4 year old and slammed right into the armoire. Both my wife and I were pissed. I spent the next 15min yelling at my son for blatantly sabotaging my flight plans.
Squatting down does not allow me to turn to stone and my wife refuses to let me attempt another run so I am not sure if my suit is entirely defective.
Cute and Comfy Costume
My husband and I bought these for a friend's themed Birthday party - they arrived quickly and were super comfortable. I wore mine with black nylon socks and flats (kind of like in the pic) and black mittens. Everyone loved the costumes and thought they were funny. Not a bad price for the product either, we've spent more on less well-made costumes for Halloween.
