You get what you pay for. The costume itself is kind of cheesy, but that makes it all the funnier for Halloween. Most Chewbacca costumes are $300 and up, and are very detailed, for a quick, inexpensive version this totally does the job.well-priced, quality as expected
For the money paid, this product is fine. My six year old was wowed by how much like Chewbacca I looked, and everyone else knew who I was supposed to be, so it served the purpose. I expect I'll get a couple more wears out of it at parties, etc. Like all of those face-masks, it got real warm and damp in there, and the suit itself is fairly thin nylon-like material, so if you're wearing it as a holloween costume outside, you may need something pretty thick underneath. My husband is 5'9" and 185 lbs. We ordered a Small for him since that's all that was available at the time, and it fit perfectly. No alterations necessary. This costume is a little pricey in my opinion, but the fabric looks nice and wears comfortably. We bought a toy samurai sword to complete the look.It is just okay.
Value wasn't horrible and no local costume shops offered Samurai costumes. I ordered the largest size since I am a plus size. The pants have a cheap small waste line and the thigh area is going to give you no room. I ended up ripping some seems the first night I wore them. Getting in and out of the car with the narrow pant was a issue, but it was my issue. Good thing is the robe covered the tightness around my thighs and the busted seems.
I also felt the graphic on the robe was more of a Chinese style dragon.Samurai costume

This costume is tremendous artwork!
The skullface looks awesome with that little moon on the forehead. Although I have a big head (baseball cap size: 8!) I was able to get in that chest&headpiece. The breathing holes (mouth) make it comfortable to wear although it's some kind of rubber/latex and sits directly on your face. I did not sweat much in that facemask.
I even was able to drink a beer while wearing it (had to use a straw though) - BUT I hydrated!
The cloth that's glued to the eyeholes is a little bit thin which makes it easy to see through but of course also easy to spot your eyes in that costume. In my case it was a pro because the moving eyes must have looked kinda scary, quote: "like the eyes of an insane creepy guy".
The giant hands are wonderfully crafted. I love the wounds on the hands. They're gory glossy and look awesome! At the wrist there are shakles with metal chains, so you can make some noise. Simple plastic tubes function as handles...> Click to See Editorial Reviews

I received this costume in the mail and it turned out to be the same low quality, overpriced junk that is sold in your local "Halloween Superstore" type of places. I tried it on and there is no way I could wear this out in public. The shirt is all one piece (and so thin it is see-through) and the pants look like patent leather. The dog tag was just a piece of wood with a sticker on it. Terrible.
The one good note: I emailed their customer service and they got back to me within 45 minutes about their return policy. I sent the costume back and was refunded.
On the down side I had to pay the shipping both ways and they charge a 15% restocking fee so they really hosed me there. I ended up going to Academy and piecing together the same costume for the same amount of money. It looked 100 times better and was actually comfortable.
I ended up paying about $18 for a costume I didn't even use. In my opinion, if this is indicative of the quality of all...Awful

We went as Woody & Jessie for Halloween.
For the price, the costume was great, BUT a few things to keep in mind:
1) This is a jumpsuit - be prepared to take the whole thing off to use the restroom. :-)
2) I don't smoke, but you should stay away from smokers and open flames when wearing this; cigarette ash goes right through the material.
3) No pockets - like most costumes of this design, there are no pockets for your wallet, cell phone, etc. My simple fix was to wear tight pants with pockets underneath the costume and cut a small slit in the jumpsuit on either side near where the pocket underneath was. While this damages the costume, it is hardly noticable and is quite functional.
4) The hat is soft foam - very comfortable and lightweight.Polyester jumpsuit

I use to watch cartoons in which the, or a main cartoon character either was portrayed as a Baby, or would actually, in fact, dress themselves up, or disguise themselves as a Baby; with nothing but a bonnet, and a diaper.
Now, somewhere around where I live, in Michigan, it'd probably be kinda' too cold a weather to wear this, even during Halloween, but when I asked a friend of mine about the possibility about dressing up like this, if I can recall correctly, I think she said it'd be fine if one DID dress up like this.
I found it a little difficult, figuring out how to put this on, but despite all of that, the costume fits me good. This is, from what I know, an in-door costume, so I can't tell if I will be planning something special with this. However, I like the idea of dressing up as a Baby.

My son and two of his friends decided to be clone troopers for their school Harvest Fair. We all ordered the same costume, but got two different masks. Theirs was the one shown on website and the package - ours ended up like a huge bucket - ridiculous in size. The gloves are too large even for my adult hands, and the belt had to be wrapped twice around him and rubberbanded to stay in place. I had to run out to the store the night before the event to buy some floral foam to pad the mask/helmet. We had to duct tape four large rectangular pieces of foam inside the mask to try and have it stay on his head without moving about. You think when you spend nearly $60 on a costume, it will be a quality that is decent. The jumpsuit itself is really nice, fits true to size. It is the accessories that are truly a joke. Don't these companies try the models on real children?

Based on the image that shows a tattered shirt and pants, neither of which is really a gown, I expected to get both items. Only the shirt is included.

The molded wound they are referring to is the chest part sewn into the shirt (which is an integral part of the costume and should go without mention), not the mouth wound indicated in the picture. This is rather deceptive. The chest part contains wounds, but it isn't a wound itself. They used a similar tactic for another Walking Dead item. See my other review for Rubie's Costume Co Men's Adult Zombie Doctor Costume Inspired by The Walking Dead.
If you do order this, and your package says "Decomposed Zombie" instead of "Dead Patient," you got the wrong package...not as advertised

I purchased three of these beauties for costume purposes at under five bucks a pop, and for that price, I was quite surprised at the quality. The beads are wooden and good sized, held together by what looks like the same stuff used to make those leather shoelaces you never see anymore. The cross is plastic with a "woodgrain" finish, and the thing is big enough to put round a fat waist (you'd have to fiddle with it--perhaps fashion some sort of clasp-- to make it stay, unless you were quite chunky) or wear round your neck. Great costume! "fringe vest" is actually attached to the shirt, not separate. Hair came folded in 1/2 and so it was really hard to get the big crease out (which created a funky bump). I put it on a 'wig head' and used the hair dryer to heat it up, then placed towels (to create weight) on top. It worked and the bump was finally smoothed out to the real shape of a head.Great costume!
The quality of this costume actually surprised me... it weathered an active party and will be good to go for future uses. I've been waiting for a good use of my hairy chest and it fit in with this costume perfectly... I might have to wear it more regularly. The hair piece is actually one of the funniest parts to this too, so it a great accessory. Only recommendation is to start shaping that hair well in advance of your party/outing... since it is folded in the package it is difficult to re-shape. I'm 6 foot 5 and the XL, according to the chart, was supposed to fit me, but the jacket is more like a Large. If you are a big guy, don't waste your time. I was very excited to have found a large jacket like this, but it doesnt fit well and I'm kind of out as far as a costume goes.Great buy!

I do not like this shirt too much. It is not sewn very nicely and the fabric is not that good. After I got it home I decided that, I do not think this shirt is a very good purchase.Didnt like the material.

We ordered this costume for our above-average height 12 year-old. While it's a men's XS, it's still long in the arms and legs. That will be easily remedied with a little thread and a needle. He LOVES the helmet!It had potential... had.
Excited as I was to be Master Chief for Halloween and couple this costume with my glowing replica energy sword, and at an affordable price, I was sorely disappointed with this purchase. Amazon.com only offered size L which is what I needed so I added it to my cart. In my cart, it changed to size XL. I contacted Amazon chat who assured me all they had in stock was L. Guess what? I received XL. Not only that but the helmet is two pieces connected with velcro buttons which was missing on one side meaning the helmet had no means of holding itself together. Oh, and of course the helmet looked like it had been smashed by a forklift at one point... last time I checked Master Chief had battle damage, not warehouse damage. Sure buying this costume is $20 less on Amazon than any of my local Halloween stores but it certainly isn't worth the price at either place. Guess I'll be out of luck for Halloween.Cheaply made and missized

I picked this up for my boyfriend to wear at a Star Wars party this past May 4th and I deem it OK. It's not bad, it's not great, it really is just OK. The foam stinks a bit and the mask comes folded so it looks kinda wonky on, not to mention that the eyeholes are positioned slightly weird and are a bit hard to look out of. (Here's a tip: stick a ski mask on underneath to hold the mask in place better and not show any hair.)
The character is easily recognizable even if he is missing some arms and at least he fit the theme of the party so at the very least we don't have any regrets in our costume choice.Exactly what I was looking for

It is a very funny costume (if you have enough courage to wear it) but the quality is really poor. The gloves had holes before I even put them on.

Quality is typical of "bag costumes." This one is hilarious, and definitely not for the kiddies!
The "extra" bone does not hang straight down, as the picture implies. It actually stands straight out, which I found a bit annoying, and it made walking through a crowded party a bit difficult. The costume includes a pump in the right sleeve that when squeezed makes the bone stand straight up.
