We ordered this costume for our above-average height 12 year-old. While it's a men's XS, it's still long in the arms and legs. That will be easily remedied with a little thread and a needle. He LOVES the helmet!
It had potential... had.
Excited as I was to be Master Chief for Halloween and couple this costume with my glowing replica energy sword, and at an affordable price, I was sorely disappointed with this purchase. Amazon.com only offered size L which is what I needed so I added it to my cart. In my cart, it changed to size XL. I contacted Amazon chat who assured me all they had in stock was L. Guess what? I received XL. Not only that but the helmet is two pieces connected with velcro buttons which was missing on one side meaning the helmet had no means of holding itself together. Oh, and of course the helmet looked like it had been smashed by a forklift at one point... last time I checked Master Chief had battle damage, not warehouse damage. Sure buying this costume is $20 less on Amazon than any of my local Halloween stores but it certainly isn't worth the price at either place. Guess I'll be out of luck for Halloween.
Cheaply made and missized
pros: 11 year old loves it
cons: way over priced. Helmet is very cheap thin plastic.
adult x-small fits an adult 5'10". We will have to do some adjusting.
